Helen’s family wanted to remember her and they did so in a very tangible way. They contacted the Enduring Mission Trustees indicating that Helen had always had a fondness in her heart for Camp Kintail and for the amazing ways that lives were touch by Jesus through the camping ministry.  As a result, they contributed the initial start-up monies to Enduring Mission in 2010 following Helen’s passing.

Over time, that portion of the Enduring Mission Fund has grown, and in 2012 the Enduring Mission Trustees recognized that we were now in a position to begin using some of these monies.  It was decided to offer a subsidy for those registered for Camp Kintail programs from our community. To date, 16 campers have received sponsorship enabling them to get to Camp Kintail and one Youth has received financial assistance to complete her “Leader In Training” at Camp Kintail. Thank you Helen and the Rankin Family!  In 2020 the Legacy Team adapted this policy to include subsidies to be made available for registering at additional local camps such as Camp Bimini!
